…gotta love us!

Our common ancestor is our grandfather Francisco Casella, born in Raccuia, Sicily in 1896.

Frank’s first child, with his first wife Aurelia Bila, was Salvatore, who was the father of Frankie and Donna Rose.

After Aurelia passed, when Sal was still so very young, Frank married Aurelia’s cousin Mary Mandese. Frank and Mary had two children. Anthony Frank, who married Eileen Segal, are the parents of Richard, Michael, Toni Lynn, Susan and Lynda. And baby Maria married Julius Terracciano, are the parents of Robert and Laura.

And we certainly can’t forget Stephanie and Joseph Mandese. Their father Joseph was the son of Phyllis Mandese, sister of Mary. Steph and Jojo, who were second cousins to us, were also part of the “cousins” group that grew up together in the Bronx.
